The Credit Manager is strategically involved at all levels of the credit work business to ensure that the best use is made of credit from suppliers and getting cash into the business as efficiently as possible.

A Credit Manager will manage the businesses credit policy, sales and invoicing procedures, software accounting systems and determining terms of business, credit risks and credit limits.

A Credit Manager is highly experienced and would often have started as a credit controller and supervisor. Business, economic and ICM qualifications will all be advantageous. They will need to have excellent communication skills, managerial skills, a thorough understanding of all commercial aspects of the business.
